#SaveOurScene

In the period of global emergency, a disaster necessitates a paradigm shift. In our seemingly stable world, the time has come for states to close their borders, large corporations, and small startups to stop their productions, thousands of people to be cut off from their sources of income.

We came to realize just how fragile this world is. Anytime now, our daily foundations can change even more radically. Yet, we believe that this disease that parted us will make us reunite. Probably, after it's all over, we'll be loving and respecting each other even more, appreciating the time spent together, and come to realize that we are all alike in this struggle against the global disaster.

COVID-19 has been a terrifying incident to face, for which the power of joint solidarity becomes a vital human initiative. Start by adhering to the strict rules of quarantine, help the elderly, but don't avoid like-minded people who need support.

TIGHT joins #SaveOurScene, campaign initiated by Resident Advisor to support the music scene worldwide. We, in turn, make efforts to support the Ukrainian music community, and today, as never before, it is essential to consolidate and step up our energies to save our scene.

To quote Resident Advisor team: "It's impossible to say what that world will look like, but the people in it will need the values dance music enshrines: inclusiveness, open-heartedness, peace, love, unity, and respect. To make it through the months ahead, we'll need to reconnect with those ideals - not just artists and people in the so-called industry, but the ravers, music lovers, amateur DJs and bedroom producers who support them."

Only together we can overcome the challenge we face and stay strong!

How can you help?

We have compiled a list of initiatives that you can join. It is incomplete and includes only a fraction of those who need your support.

Buy music

Always! Especially on March 20, from Noon to Midnight (PT), when Bandcamp will have all profits transferred directly to the artists. We encourage you to support artists who are seized from playing out and labels that release their music.

Do not compensate for canceled/postponed events

The cancellation of events means a substantial financial loss for the promoters, and all parties involved. Nobody knows when things are going back to normal, so try, if possible, not to make up for the tickets you purchased.

Make donations

In the current context, even a small donation can pay bills. If you have the opportunity, support your favorite club, promo group, DJ. This is crucial for the entire music ecosystem.

Support visual artists

Those who are not seem to be related at first (simplified) glance. Support the designers who created cover art and event posters, or the photographers who helped cover your favorite parties. Many of them are going through difficult times.
