Сигнал из милиции (roughly translated as ‘The Sound from the Police’ and pronounced as ‘Signal iz Militsii’) is a project of the DJ, collector, and Kyiv legend Andriy Shcherbyna, also known as Kirpich Soundsystem and Одинокий Пастух 2000, dedicated to the Soviet underground music of the 80s and early 90s. Andrey’s collection comprises of obscure funk, jazz, experimental electronics, synth-pop, post-rock, new wave, house, and trance.

For the new edition of Tightmix, Andrey Shcherbyna prepared a selection of tracks by such significant bands as Gosti iz Buduschego, Species of Fishes, Vzryivateli, Tэtris and many more artists whose tracks have been lost in the ruins of a bygone era.
